Welcome to all Junior Section members. 2007 will be another busy and exciting year for Oldmeldrum Golf Club Junior Section. This newsletter provides an update for all members.
Review of 2006
2006 proved to be a busy year both on and off the course. Our pennant team won 3 and lost 2 of their 5 fixtures, and we reached the semi finals of both the Felicity Cup, and Off the Tee competitions. Junior medals were very well supported, whilst our Junior Open and Adult/Junior Open both received record entries. For beginners, those boys and girls involved with clubgolf made great improvement, and our mini juniors were busy every week throughout the summer.
The section also enjoyed trips to Aviemore in April, and Portumna , Ireland in August. I'm sure everyone involved with these trips will agree that they were a tremendous success.
Off the course, we held a social night in February, and a car boot sale in May, which together raised over £1000 for the section.
